Google Launches Gemini 3.8 Live with Real-Time Live Avatar for Enterprises
Google has released Live Avatar for Gemini 3.8 Live, adding a near real-time video avatar with lip-sync and facial expressions to its conversational AI. It can call tools in the background while the conversation continues, supports 97 languages, and lets allowlisted enterprises create custom avatars from a reference image. All output carries a SynthID watermark, and the feature is available through Gemini Enterprise.
